SCOPE OF WORK: Fabrication, piling, structural steel, installation and hydrotesting. Delivered fabrication with turnover package from our fabrication shop. Detailed survey report for pile installation, coating, logistics from fabrication to coating to site. Provided full Quality Control turnover package.

CHALLENGES/UNIQUENESS: Worked within a live facility with a high-water table which was nearing surface. Capped all excavations with bentonite to seal the containment within the tank berm. Installed 30” above grove ground piping, daylighted every pile location to a depth of 4-5m to confirm there was no unknown existing pipe in line with pile due to the age of the site. With the high-water table all pipe locations were filled with Crete as undermining was a major issue. Strong change management enabled timely completion.
