At Arnett & Burgess, we strive to ensure the communities where we live, and work are stronger and better off as a result of us being there. We have a long history of building strong partnerships and relationships with communities in which we operate. Our employees are part of these communities, and together, we support sustainability, local businesses and community-minded causes. We demonstrate respect for project-related concerns and the land where we operate.
Our success is shared; it is the result of our people. We hire candidates dedicated to doing their best, striving for continuous improvement. Initiatives enhancing the training and overall education of our employees are met with full support. We apply fair labour practices throughout our operations and adhere to all applicable workplace, employment, privacy and human rights standards.
We make our community investment decisions based on the needs of the communities where we work, and focus on what is important to our employees, clients and suppliers. We recognize that our success depends on the economic, social and environmental health of the communities where we live and work.

Our Featherstone Mentorship Program is one of many ways we provide inclusion into Indigenous Communities and young participants to our industry. Our program was implemented in 2013 and provides on-the-job mentorship and training for individuals who want to work in the pipeline construction industry and possess the required tickets, but cannot get that first job due to lack of relevant experience. Arnett & Burgess helps ease these barriers by providing hands-on work opportunities in order to gain greater local participation.
